Rangoli is a colourful art known by different names across different parts of India like Alpona, Ossa, Muggu, Kolam etc.With the fragrance of Diwali all around in the environment and to please Goddess Lakshmi for showering her devotees with good fortune, prosperity, and wealth, Rangoli is made which represents our culture.
Every year our institute organizes the grand “Rangoli” Design Competition for the students to showcase their creativity and skills.
This year also the much anticipated event ” Rangoli Design Competition” was conducted on 18 Oct 2017 to celebrate the occasion of Diwali.
Students from different courses participated with a lot of enthusiasm and zeal to showcase their artistic, creative, and imaginative skills in order to gleam the institute floor with bright and beautiful Rangoli’s design.
Students of ADMEC exhibited their flair in the art by making beautiful Rangoli designs using geometric shapes, deity impressions and floral motifs using myriad materials such as rangoli powder, coloured sand, rice powder, diyas, flowers etc.
The judging criteria of Rangoli was based on:
The competition was divided into 4 teams consisting of 10 members and four teams have prepared rangoli on different themes.
