File Formats
GIF and JPEG are the two formats for image files widely used by web designers for web content and is supported by all web browsers. GIF is the descriptor for Graphic Interchange Format and JPEG is the descriptor for Joint Photographers Experts Group.
PDF and EPS are two formats mostly used by the graphic designers for the photographs and picture to be printed. PDF stands for Portable Document Format and EPS stands for Encapsulated PostScript.
Fonts
Selecting a font for web could be a cumbersome process as against for graphic or print. Being a print media, graphic designers secure about the display of their font commanded throughout the designing process. However, web designers cannot secure about the display of their fonts properly as it entirely depends on the net browsers being used. Which means one’s audience can able to see the desired font provided that it’s installed or get downloaded on their computers.
