Module III: Basics of Art and Image Editing
This module will cover basic art and design skills in drawing and composition, as well as principles of two-dimensional, human figure drawing, perspective and color, light & shadow, materials, tools, lines, shapes, anatomy, expressions etc.
It will also impart advanced level techniques for designing software like Photoshop and Illustrator.
Module IV: Video Editing (NLE) & Audio Editing
In the second module of this 3D animation course, students will learn key components of a Non-Linear editing using Premiere Pro. They will understand project creation, timeline settings to a project, and different editing techniques. Students will also practice audio editing using Audition.Â
Key tools under this module will be Premiere Pro and Audition.
Semester II: 2D Animation and 3D Compositing
Module I: Pre-Production for 2D Animation
The basic concepts and techniques of story boarding and layout making consist of visualization and scriptwriting are important for every pre-production process of 2D animation that no animation training centers offer will be a part of this module.
The student will learn progression, 2D animations, and special effects, 2D text using Adobe Animate, basic story structure in a storyboard form, from rough sketches to a finished presentation etc.
Module II: 3D Compositing
This module will concentrate on the advanced concepts of 3D compositing, timelines, effects, motion graphics animation, and rendering using Maxon Cinema 4D.
Semester III: Architecture and Interior Design
Module I: Architectural Planning & Drafting
This module will provide hands on training in Computer-Assisted Drafting (CAD) for creating Floor Plans, Elevations, Site Layouts, Structural Framing Plans and Rendering Plans using Autodesk AutoCAD. It will explain in detail what is required on a residential and commercial set of drawings for permitting purposes and will introduce students to advanced sustainability concepts and procedures.
Module II: Autodesk 3Ds Max
This module will teach 3D visualization in Autodesk 3Ds Max to the students, starting from the basic to advanced level. Through the advanced 3d Animation classes, students will learn major features of 3D rendering software and how to produce the high-quality interior and exterior elevations and views. Students will learn how to efficiently incorporate the task of rendering using V-ray within the existing and new workflows.
Semester IV: 3D Animation, Visual Effects, and Showreel
Module I: 3D Modeling, Texturing, and Rendering
In this module, main focus will be on the practices, concepts and theories associated with 3D modelling, rendering and texturing. Students will learn about tools, techniques and general approach which can be helpful while working on live projects in order to develop essential skills and knowledge necessary to critically evaluate and produce an animated 3D sequence.
Module II: 3D Animation, Visual effects, and Rendering
In this 3D Animation course, students will learn to how to create and animate 3D digital objects. They will also get trained in how to add audio & special effects to animated scenes for producing mini movies and learn various types of rendering. Student will work both independently, and in small teams to produce VFX sequences.
Tools covered under this module: Autodesk Maya and Substance Painter
Capstone Project: At the end of this program, students will work on capstone projects that integrate the skills learned throughout the course, focusing on 3D animation and visual effects. These projects will serve as professional portfolios, demonstrating their expertise in animation, rendering, and visual design.
