Creativity is Essential for You
Creativity is important to be successful in fields like multimedia, graphic design etc. To be a designer, you must regularly innovate and think creatively. That is the only way to catch up with the moving trends.
“One sure-fire way to stay creative; force yourself to learn something new.” – Harvey Mackay

It is essential everywhere, whether it is designing a user interface, animation or a brand identity.
Please don’t think like the term “Creativity” is related to doing new or weird things always.
Even Charles Mingus who is one of the greatest jazz musicians in the history defines it like:
“Creativity is more than just being different. Anybody can plan weird; that’s easy. What’s hard is to be as simple as Bach. Making the simple, awesomely simple, that’s creativity.”

So, creativity refers to thinking outside the box no doubt. But at the same time, it is also about looking at things from a fresh perspective.
Process of Making Students Creative Thinkers at ADMEC Multimedia Institute
Our institute understands how important it is to have an innovative mind in digital media. That is why we always try to help our students in bridging the gap between technical knowledge and creative thinking. We do this through followings:
1. Visualization Focused Courses
Each and every design course at ADMEC focuses on visualization. Our main goal is to give an artistic vision to students. Our training covers use of typography, color theory, branding and visual storytelling.
Commercial art and visual grammar training play a very important role in it. These classes train students in the creative thinking process. With this, students learn to follow design stages properly. They also start understanding the role of design principles and elements. All this builds their strong foundation in the design key concepts.
2. Special Workshops
We host regular workshops for students by industry professionals. These workshops provide sound understanding of industry trends to students. Students learn about the design legends, inspiring projects, dos and don’ts to design efficiently.
One of our popular workshop series is on Design, Designers and Design Industry. Ravi sir conducts this series of 2-3 special sessions to introduce young designers with the industry and its legends. Another popular series is on Design Thinking in which we discuss on types of thinking with students. Every workshop gives assignments to research on and prepare project file to students.
3. One Day Design Challenges
Design challenges come as another way to enhance creativity in our learners. Under these challenges, our experts give different topics to create brand identity campaigns to students. But there is also a time-bound of 2 hours.
Also, we don’t allow students to use internet during the challenge hours. This pushes their mind to think themselves completely and come up with unique design ideas. These types of challenges also help in the preparation of practical interview round.
4. Outdoor Sessions
Outdoor sessions are conducted for all diploma programs students. We usually arrange these sessions in the month of November, December and February every year. In the outdoor sessions, students learn about golden ratio, rule of third, types of perspective, lighting, shading, and color balancing. All these concepts are crucial to learn to become an efficient designer. There are 3-4 sessions in a month for outdoor. These sessions are mandatory for all.
5. Creative Competitions
At ADMEC, we inspire every student to take part in creative competitions and quizzes. By participating in these competitions and quizzes, students become vocal, learn to work in team, and present their skills with confident. In addition to that, the feedback from mentors will make their work better. Also, they enhance their skills and enter more horizons of broader creativity.
Some of the frequently organized competitions at ADMEC Multimedia Institute Delhi are:
6. Industry Visits

We take our students to print pack expo, art galleries, exhibitions, site visits, museums, production houses, etc. with our instructors.
