Education and academic competitions are two vital ingredients in a student’s life and these two have always been considered as important substances for an individual growth. In humans, skills and knowledge mostly depend upon the education. There is no doubt education is the secret key to human success.

Education and quizzes are very closely related as competitions are put in education for the expansion and development of educational skills. Definitely, without competitions, we cannot imagine learning anything in our life. Institution arranges several kinds of competitions programs like quizzes, a design competition that enhances the knowledge as well as skills of a student. The exam itself is the biggest competition where a student competes to surpass others and perform better. Quizzes are a kind of competition where the students answer several questions, which will help them in memorizing different concepts and skills.

ADMEC Multimedia Institute organizes quiz competitions and other events every month to encourage our students and give them a feel where they stand and lack knowledge in their area of interest. Our Web Design Quiz was organized on 29^th August 2016. The Medium of quiz competition involves written as well as activities, multiple questions round, visuals & rapid fire rounds. It was conducted by our esteemed institution staff. We are in a constant process of improving our methods of conducting competitions which can enhance student’s knowledge graph.

Instructions for the Web Design Quiz:

1. Each group will be given equal time to answer a particular question.
2. Be aware for negative marking. If any team is not able to answer the question correctly, then negative marking would be done for every wrong answer.
3. It is compulsory for everyone to maintain decorum and should not disturb anyone in the premises, else *silent marking would be done to your team.

(Silent marking: this process is giving authority to the quiz administrators and investigators to cut off the appropriate marks if any team does not follow rules as mentioned above.)

In this quiz, we had 5 rounds & total marks for all rounds were 100. (per team).

1^st Round: Rapid Fire Round– 15 Questions- 15 Marks-10 Mins
2^nd Round: MCQ’s (PPT)– 10 Questions-10 Marks-20 Mins
3^rdRound: Web Developers Round– 15 questions-15 Marks -30 Mins
4^thRound: Brilliance Analysis Round– 2 Categories- 30 Marks-30 Mins
5^th Round: Grab as much u Can– 3 Categories-30 Marks-30 Mins

(Punctuality Marks: 3 additional marks will be awarded to that team whose all members will be on time)
