Competitions are one of the most exciting activities for students and ADMEC Multimedia Institute believes in overall development along with classroom training as activities and quiz competitions can easily engage, connect as well as motivate students to learn something different from daily things by keeping them technically grounded.

Jiddu Krishnamurti said – “Real learning comes about when the competitive spirit has ceased”.

Multimedia Quiz competition 2020

Like every year ADMEC Multimedia Institute conducted Multimedia Quiz on 12th February 2020, which was actually fascinating because of its preparation, content variety, teamwork, different rounds, that excited our students to prepare well and perform better.

This time the Multimedia Quiz competition conducted in 5 different interesting rounds with multiple sub-rounds.

• Round 1: Rapid Fire (Buzzer round)
• Round 2: Media Masala (Buzzer round with 5 different parts)
• Round 3: Jano to pehchano (6 different parts)
• Round 4: Read, write and Explain last News ( 3 different parts)
• Round 5: Media and Entertainment. (2 different parts)

Participants were divided into 3 teams that consisted of 22 students in each.

We did not expect whether all the participants would join but their presence was miraculous and we could start the quiz on the very promised time. Students were prepared but only mentors knew – “How shocking and shaky would all the rounds be for them” as a Multimedia quiz included all the sections such as Graphic design, Web design, and development, Post-production, Animation, Photography, General knowledge, Advertisement knowledge, Movie and songs knowledge, etc.

Overall Experience

The quiz started with simple questions and soon it turned out to be a surprise for them but students gave their best, like team A performed better in round 1 but team C snatched marks in round 3 and the quiz went on exquisitely. Students admitted that they learned a lot and got to know what they are lacking or what they should focus on to be an updated and smart learner.

Results and awards

Students were praised for their active participation and after a little break, results were announced.

The winning team got printed t-shirts and certificates, the best performer and best team leaders got certificates. Participants were provided for digital certificates.

Finally, the day was wrapped with the Director’s (Mr. Ravi Bhadauria) speech – Congratulations to winners and all the participants !! He awarded all the winners followed by motivational words, explaining to them the importance of these activities, how helpful it is, and how it can help in their personal as well as professional development.
